ONESPAN, formerly VASCO is a US based company specializing in digital identity and anti- fraud solutions. The Digipass security token uses just one button to enable a two-factor authentication. After entering the PIN, a unique sequence of numbers is simultaneously generated on the token and bank server, based on the serial number of the token and the current time. This process offers a much higher security standard than the TAN key, widely used in Germany.
