DESIGN PLANET’s proposal won the design pitch for TENOVIS new phone line against well- known international competitors. The new terminals were among the first available VoIP phones worldwide and became the standard products for office applications. Later TENOVIS, one of the largest German telecommunications companies, was acquired by AVAYA. Today AVAYA is one of the leading global suppliers for corporate communication. Their products are in use at over one million companies.

The multifunctional terminal has been specially developed to meet the demanding requirements of patient care in hospitals, spas, rehabilitation clinics and nursing homes. It enables patients to make both outgoing and nurse calls. It also offers control functions for tv/radio, lighting and has a built-in headphone jack. The phone can be installed on a bedside table or on a swivel arm. With his personal patient smart card the user can log in, settle the costs and access the full range of hospital services.
